We spent a nice day at the zoo yesterday. The weather was pretty nice, especially for Seattle in March. I think we were the only people there who didn’t have young children in tow…
It looked like a nice sunset tonight, but I only got to view it indirectly, as it illuminated the buildings downtown. Most of my walk home was completely in the shade, which wasn’t nearly as pretty. I hate wasting good light.
By the way, I re-did my photography portfolio, moving it to its own site. That’s at seanharding.com now.
Also, if people don’t stop stealing my images for their own sites, I’m going to have to start slapping watermark text visibly in my images. I really don’t want to do that, but it’s getting bad. Most recently, two Xanga.com users (who get a lot of hits), two Fark threads and a bunch of random message board sites have been slamming me with references to images from my site that people have embedded in their posts. I turned my referer checking back on now (so when people do that, they’ll just get a small image with a copyright notice), but it really annoys me that I have to do that at all. Sigh.
For a brief moment yesterday morning, it almost seemed like spring in Seattle. A lot of people were enjoying of it by walking in the various parks around town. Unfortunately, the rain had returned by evening.
